Welcome to Good Deeds Ohio. Our goal is to gather a group of likeminded individuals who want to support those who need our help most right here in our local Ohio community. From homeless and domestic violence shelters, to individuals who have fallen on hard times and need some extra support to get back on their feet, we want to form a supportive group to help lift these individuals and organizations up and help them make ends meet. Follow us on Facebook to join us on this journey to making the world a better place.
We are helping to support a high school senior in Southeast Ohio who has found herself in some difficult times. Molly, as we are referring to her for privacy reasons, is now living on her own due to unsafe living conditions at home. She is trying to manage school, her part-time job, and now the stress of trying to make ends meet.
Through her school, she is in the process of getting on food stamps and assistance from other government programs, but we know these assistance programs can take awhile to go into motion. Which is why we are reaching out to our network to help support Molly in the meantime.
Our amazing community has helped donate so many items already through the Amazon wish list we created (food, hygiene products, household necessities, winter boots, tennis shoes and more). We could not be more grateful to you all for helping us support this sweet girl. Our Amazon link is still live with a few items, but we have been blessed with how much has been purchased for Molly already. If you feel called to help further, we are collecting donations to purchase Walmart gift cards, so that she can purchase fresh and frozen food, in addition to the shelf-stable items that have been donated already.
Our group founder, Jordan, will accept donations via Venmo and PayPal for the gift cards. Please put "Project Molly" in the comment section of your donation. We appreciate your support!
